We believe in taking action to make a positive impact where people live and work. This week we’re partnering with California Ford Dealers and Feeding America to donate 1 million meals to our neighbors in California. Across the state, millions of people, including children, senior citizens and low-income residents, struggle to access fresh and healthy food. Together we are mobilizing 200 Ford customers and dealer employees to volunteer as six events in partnership with Feeding America’s local foodbanks in Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Diego.

Feeding America is a national network of food banks that works tirelessly to fight hunger in our neighborhoods. The Ford Fund recently granted $1.25 million to support Feeding America’s mission and to fund new mobility innovations that will expand access to fresh food in communities with limited to no access to transportation.

Coming together this week means we are able to reach more people who are having a had time putting food on the table. Our commitment to giving back and making a difference in our communities is what makes Ford unique.
