Team Rubicon Powered by Ford

Flooding, wildfires, tornadoes and hurricanes impact more and more people each year.

We are building on our longstanding relationship with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves communities before, during and after natural disasters and crises.

Multi-Year Partnership

Team Rubicon Powered by Ford is a multi-year partnership that includes a donated fleet of Ford vehicles, $2.5M philanthropic investment and Ford employee volunteer program.

This partnership builds on decades of commitment to investing in communities around the world after disasters strike.

"At the heart of Ford is our commitment to help our communities in times of need and encourage our employees to volunteer their time and talent to help others. The reality is weather related disasters in the U.S. are becoming more frequent and more severe. That's why we are significantly expanding our relationship with Team Rubicon, donating a fleet of vehicles and deploying manpower where it is needed most."

- Bill Ford, Executive Chair, Ford Motor Company

Built to Serve. Powered by Greyshirts.

Team Rubicon was founded by two Marines in the wake of Haiti’s devastating earthquake in 2010. Since then, the organization has expanded to 170,000 Greyshirt volunteers and deployed teams to more than 1,000 disasters and humanitarian crises around the world. Team Rubicon is led by veterans whose tenacity, operational expertise and commitment to service enable their teams to reach underserved communities disconnected from aid and other services.

Employees Giving Back

The Ford Volunteer Corps was established by Bill Ford in 2005 for employees to make an impact in their communities by volunteering their time and service. Ford employees can now sign up to deploy alongside Team Rubicon’s volunteers.
